Val is one of my closest friends from college. Like I am
sure many of you agree, it is so difficult staying in contact once you are in a
different stage of life. Val is one of those people that I don’t have to. We
are both so busy with our lives but when we get a chance to catch up, it’s like
not a day has passed. Quincy and I got to hang out with her and her two
beautiful dogs in Nashville while we were shooting Jonathan and Amanda’s wedding.
Her house is just as I pictured it, on a hill {just like her
mom and dad}, with a mélange of modern and folk art. The best is this huge
piece that hangs above the fire place, from Saint Tattoo in Knoxville, TN. Her
and Oliver have really made a great home together and there two dogs couldn’t
be cuter.
They both {the dogs} have very cute and unique
personalities. They are really like two little kids, very playful, gentle, and
a little feisty. Quincy Enjoyed following them around and snapping a few shots
of them while we were there.
BTW Val had the hook up on food. She made this amazing
spread for us including fruit salsa, mini sandwiches, and there was more.
